The College's acquisition of a $10 million grant through the efforts of U.S. Congressman John Joseph Moakley, allowed the construction of the campus fiber network and a new regional telecommunications facility which dramatically enhances the teaching capability of the region's educational professionals and promotes the growth of the region's economy. The Moakley Center provides training in the use of technology for students, teachers, and members of the work force. |
